The
Oregon Convention Center (OCC) is the largest convention center in
the Pacific Northwest, making it an ideal venue for conventions,
industry tradeshows, meetings, and banquets. Located in beautiful and
lively downtown Portland,
Oregon, the OCC is the preferred destination for many groups
because of its commitment to customer service and leadership in sustainable
practices.
All symposia, contributed sessions, meetings, poster sessions, and
exhibitions for Evolution 2010 will be held in a contiguous space of
two
exhibit halls, multiple meeting rooms, and lobby areas at the main
entrance to the OCC near the MAX platform.
Bruce Forster / Viewfinders
The convention site, hotels, and campus accomodations can all be easily accessed from Portland International Airport via MAX light rail service. All hotels contracted for Evolution 2010 are within a few blocks of the convention center, and campus dorms are a short, 15-minute ride away on MAX. Getting around downtown is easy on MAX and the Portland Streetcar, both of which are free within the "Fareless Square" that covers most of the downtown area.
